Folk dance ensemble “Dream”

“Dream” is a folk dance ensemble, which is one of the oldest groups in Lviv.

For many participants, the team opened the way to the professional stage. One of them is the outstanding choreographer of Ukraine, winner of the Shevchenko Prize, chief ballet master and artistic director of the Pavlo Virsky State Ensemble of Ukraine - Myroslav Vantukh. Her creative career as a dancer began in “Mriya” and the current artistic director of the group - Yaryna Vashchuk

History and creative achievements

For many participants, the team opened the way to the professional stage. One of them is Myroslav Vantukh — an outstanding choreographer of Ukraine, winner of the Shevchenko Prize, principal ballet master and artistic director of the National Honored Academic Dance Ensemble of Ukraine named after him. Pavel Virsky. Yaryna Vashchuk, the current artistic director of the group, began her career as a dancer in “Mriya”.

Today, the ensemble consists of 35 participants aged 16 to 35 years. The program is designed for people with professional choreographic experience and specialized training.

Concert activities

The ensemble “Mriya” is an active participant in Ukrainian and international festivals, competitions, concert programs and cultural exchanges.

Ensemble repertoire

folk and stage dances and choreographic compositions related to the traditions of the Ukrainian people. The golden fund includes productions — “Sorceress”, “Chipak”, “Dance with bells”

Classes take place three times a week for 3 hours.
